Responsibilities


Role Overview


We are seeking a highly driven and technically proficient Sales Engineer to join our team in delivering cutting-edge automation solutions. This role is central to our mission of providing "one-stop" engineering solutions, specializing in process control instrumentation, SCADA, and the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies. You will be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle—from technical solution design and proposal preparation to high-level negotiations and project delivery.



Requirements


Key Responsibilities


1. Solution Development & Technical Sales
  • System Solutioning: Develop and deliver comprehensive system solutions and technical support to a diverse client base.

  • Proposals & Quotations: Prepare detailed technical proposals and commercial quotations for process control instrumentation, SCADA, IIoT, MES, or Industry 4.0 applications.

  • Solution-Based Selling: Drive sales by understanding specific customer technical and commercial requirements to recommend tailored automation and electrification solutions.

2. Business Development & Account Management
  • New Account Acquisition: Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers, planning strategic sales approaches, and organizing outreach.

  • Key Account Management: Manage both internal and external sales while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

  • Market Expansion: Market the organization’s products and solutions to both local and overseas markets to broaden the company's regional footprint.

3. Strategic Planning & Reporting
  • Sales Strategy: Develop robust sales plans in collaboration with the Sales Division Head to fulfill growth and revenue objectives.

  • Forecasting: Prepare regular sales reports and accurate revenue forecasts to support strategic planning.

  • Target Achievement: Ensure maximum sales of organizational products to meet or exceed established targets




Requirements & Qualifications
1. Education & Experience
  • Academic Background: Possess a Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.

  • Industry Experience: Have at least 3–5 years of working experience in instruments or automation, with a strong background in project sales and preparing tenders/proposals.

  • Technical Foundations: Hold a strong technical foundation in engineering, providing a base for selling complex industrial solutions.


2. Technical Knowledge
  • Core Systems: Deep knowledge of process control instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, and Telemetry/IIoT systems is required.

  • Software & Hardware: Experience with one or more of the following is highly advantageous: MES technologies, CitectScada, Cimplicity, Historian, Siemens/Schneider/GE PLC, and SQL programming.

  • System Integration: Familiarity with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) used in managing factory operations.

3. Competencies & Soft Skills
  • Communication: Possess excellent business communication skills, including technical knowledge, business presentation capabilities, and public speaking.

  • Linguistic Ability: Fluency in Mandarin and English is considered an added advantage for regional stakeholder engagement.

  • Working Style: Must be willing to travel, able to work effectively under pressure, and capable of meeting strict project tender deadlines.
