Our esteemed client in the Transportation/ Logistics industry is seeking a Customer Service Executive (Airfreight) to join their dynamic team:
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Position: Customer Service Executive (Airfreight)
- Location: Changi Cargo Complex
- Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm; Sat,9am to 1pm) – Alternate Sat after probation
- Salary Package: Up to $4,600 + Bonus
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage quotations for RFQs, ad-hoc, and project shipments with competitive pricing.
- Handle key customer accounts and serve as main contact for airfreight enquiries.
- Liaise with airlines, co-loaders, and vendors to secure rates and cargo space.
- Follow up on quotations and convert opportunities into bookings.
- Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and finance teams for smooth shipment execution.
- Monitor shipments and resolve delays or service issues promptly.
- Provide market updates on rates, space, and peak season trends.
- Support sales team on account growth and new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems.
- Guide and mentor junior staff as and when needed.
Job Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience in airfreight or freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of airfreight operations, pricing, and carrier coordination.
- Experience handling quotations and customer accounts independently.
- Experience handling key accounts or freehand customers would be preferred.
- Familiar with customs permits is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office and logistics systems.
