About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to support our daily shipping, warehousing, and regional distribution operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth coordination between suppliers, forwarders, warehouse operations, and local customers while maintaining cost efficiency and service quality.

You will work closely with internal sales, warehouse, and regional teams to manage shipment schedules, delivery coordination, inventory movement, and export documentation across the region. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and able to manage multiple operational activities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Shipping, Warehousing & Local Deliveries

  • Coordinate with forwarders on import and port clearance activities.
  • Arrange collection of materials from suppliers’ premises.
  • Update internal stakeholders on shipment ETA and ETD for ex-works shipments.
  • Ensure incoming materials match approved Purchase Order quantities.
  • Monitor warehouse operations to ensure proper First In First Out (FIFO) practices for outgoing goods.
  • Arrange delivery orders for local customers upon approval from the Sales Manager.
  • Communicate delivery schedules to local customers in advance.
  • Prepare invoices and delivery orders for local deliveries.
  • Coordinate daily delivery schedules with the company driver and warehouse team.
  • Plan and manage the activities of warehouse personnel and delivery operations.

Cost Control & Operational Efficiency

  • Review and monitor charges from forwarders, shipping companies, and port clearance agents.
  • Raise and follow up on disputes relating to unreasonable logistics charges.
  • Obtain freight quotations and identify the most cost-effective shipping options.
  • Monitor warehousing-related operational costs and ensure adequate supplies of packing materials and consumables.
  • Monitor cargo insurance charges and ensure billing aligns with agreed rates.

Regional Support

  • Coordinate and advise subsidiaries on order status and shipment schedules.
  • Prepare shipping documentation for export of chemical products to subsidiaries.
  • Issue invoices, packing lists, and supporting documents for customs clearance and payment processing.

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure all logistics and warehouse activities comply with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements.

About You

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in shipping coordination, warehouse operations, or logistics administration.
  • Familiar with import/export documentation, freight coordination, and local delivery arrangements.
  • Good understanding of inventory handling and warehouse practices such as FIFO.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and external vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
  • Experience working with chemical shipments or regulated goods would be an added advantage.
