Job Description
Responsibilities
Retail Cashiers are responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per Company standards, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, cash register operations and safeguarding company assets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Able to handle Point-of-Sales duties & equipment necessary to perform the job
Deliver outstanding customer service
Preform transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently
Ability to safeguard company assets
Maintenance of Cashier Counter
Housekeeping duties such as ensure sufficient plastic bags, PAID stickers, NETS paper, audit rolls for POS (Point of Sale) and credit card machines
Promote Best Denki Membership, Extended Warranty and sales of items
Do area cleaning of the store to maintain stall cleanliness
Requirements:
Pleasant personality with genuine aptitude for customer-service related work.
Good communications skills and able to multi-task in a fast pace environment.
Able and Comfortable working full shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Perform Rotating Shift
Is able to speak and write in Basic English
Probation: 3 months
Retail cashiers are required to perform the following working shifts from Mondays to Sundays, including public holidays:
Morning: 9.30am to 5.30pm (1h lunch break)
Afternoon: 2pm to 10pm (1h dinner break)
Full Shift: 9:30am to 10pm (1.5h meal break)
Number of off days per month: 6
Minimum number of full shifts to serve: 6
Alternate weeks will work 6 days instead of 5 day work week i.e. work 5 days this week, work 6 days next week, work 5 days the following week, so on and so forth.
Basic salary is $2100 a month. On top of that, retail cashiers also earn sales commissions and allowances (public holiday allowance and attendance allowance).
Benefits include medical and dental benefits as well as staff discounts. 10 days annual leave for a complete calendar year of service.
