Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Environmental Services
• Position Title: Mechanical Engineering Technician
• Working Location: Tuas (Company transportation provided)
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Monday-Friday, 8AM – 5PM); Saturday (8AM – 12PM) / Shift Work (Day: 8 AM – 8 PM, Night: 8 PM – 8 AM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + OT + Transport Allowance + Retention Bonus + AWS + Quarterly Incentive
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance for all plant equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Inspect equipment, identify issues, and perform corrective repairs as required.
• Maintain and update preventive maintenance documentation, including history cards and checklists.
• Record daily maintenance activities and complete work in the logbook.
• Reduce equipment breakdowns and downtime through effective fault identification and timely resolution.
• Perform overhauls and maintenance on fans, blowers, pumps, motors, and other rotating/mechanical equipment.
• Support installation of new equipment and conduct inspections to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned.

• Minimum NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in Process Plant.
• Possess strong practical and technical skills.
