JOB SUMMARY

As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in assisting senior surveyors in managing costs and ensuring the financial success of our projects. You will be involved in various stages of construction projects, providing support and expertise in cost control, procurement, and contract management.

JOB DESCRIPTION / DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist in preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.

2. Assist in cost estimation, cost planning, and budget allocation for projects.

3. Conduct on-site measurements and valuations for work done.

4. Support in analysing and evaluating contractor/subcontractor bids.

5. Collaborate with the project team to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and specifications.

6. Assist in managing variations in the contract and preparing cost reports.

7. Keep track of project progress and financial expenditures.

8. Assist in final accounts preparation and settlement of accounts.

9. Any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time

REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Experience

• 0–2 years of working experience in quantity surveying or construction industry.
• Internship experience in construction or QS consultancy is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of quantity take-off, costing, and tendering.
• Familiar with construction materials, contracts, and project documentation.
• Able to prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) and cost estimates.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, or QS software is an advantage.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to learn and work under tight deadlines.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
