You will oversee the building and facilities maintenance activities and be responsible for preserving the good condition of the infrastructure and ensuring that facilities are well managed and maintained in a safe and functional manner. You will also take charge of all facilities maintenance activities at our retail outlets located at various locations within Klang Valley.
Duties and responsibilities
- Overseedaily operations and maintenance of facilities across Royal Selangor headquarters and showroom locations within Klang Valley.
- Ensurebuildings, utilities, and equipment are functioning efficiently and safely.
- Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all in-house facilities and fleet management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues, including air-conditioning, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems, promptly.
- Actas the primary contact and liaison for external contractors regarding repairs, cleaning services, and waste management.
- Prepare and manage annual CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) and OPEX (Operating Expenditure) budgets.
- Monitor expenses and evaluate quotations to ensure cost efficiency within approved budgets.
- Provide financial reporting and cost analysis to management.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute facility improvement projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within specifications.
- Monitor project progress and ensure quality compliance with contractors and consultants.
- Ensurecompliance with safety regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Maintainproper documentation, maintenance checklists, and reporting for all administrative functions.
- Manage company vehicles, including service scheduling, road tax (Road Tax), and insurance renewal.
- Coordinate facility setup and provide technical support including AV (Audio Visual) and electrical readiness for corporate events and showroom activities.
- Identifyopportunities to improve building functionality, energy efficiency, and user experience.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Building Management or its equivalent.
- Preferably with 1-2 years of working experience in the related field
- Good supervisory, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to multi-task with a high sense of urgency.
- Team player and ability to interact with all levels of employees.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,700.00 per month
