Job Scope / Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing suppliers, requesting quotations, and comparing prices, quality, and delivery terms.
• Support the preparation of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier documentation.
• Follow up with suppliers on order status, delivery schedules, and outstanding items.
• Assist in checking received goods against purchase orders and delivery orders to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain and update purchasing records, supplier lists, and filing systems.
• Coordinate with store, kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments regarding purchasing requirements.
• Assist in monitoring stock levels and informing the supervisor of low stock or urgent purchase needs.
• Support market surveys and price comparisons to help achieve cost-effective purchasing.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with hotel policies, procedures, and approval processes.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Purchasing Executive, Procurement Officer, or management.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a certificate, diploma, or degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, Hospitality, or related field
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Excel, Word, email)
• Good communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Responsible, willing to learn, and able to work in a team

Pay: RM600.00 - RM700.00 per month
