About You
You are a proven fleet operations professional with strong leadership capabilities, able to oversee day-to-day vehicle movement while guiding and developing a team. You thrive in high-volume operational environments, balance on-ground execution with process improvement, and ensure smooth collaboration with internal teams and vendors. You take ownership of performance outcomes, driving efficiency and high standards across all fleet activities.
Your Day-to-Day
- Oversee and lead daily planning of vehicle movements across yard, branches, and workshops.
- Supervise and guide the fleet team during vehicle loading/unloading, inspections, and audits.
- Ensure readiness and compliance of vehicles — cleanliness, fuel, roadworthiness, documentation.
- Manage relationships with drivers, transport vendors, and internal stakeholders to meet SLAs.
- Monitor and analyze fleet KPIs, providing insights and corrective actions to minimize delays.
- Support the Assistant Manager in driving operational improvements and SOP enhancements.
- Conduct coaching, on-the-job training, and performance feedback for team members.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of fleet operations and incidents.
You Know How
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Automotive, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in fleet or transport operations, with some team leadership exposure.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-volume operational environments.
- Proficient in Excel, fleet tracking, and reporting systems.
- Solid understanding of inspection standards, loading/unloading procedures, and routing.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead a small team, manage priorities, and deliver under pressure.
- GDL/Competent License is an added advantage.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
