Formtri Idea Hiring! Full Time Project Designer Carpentry in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 4,500 - Ricebowl

Formtri Idea is looking for an experienced and passionate Project Designer (3–5 years’ experience) who is creative, dedicated, and eager to grow with our team in design & build including the cabinetry and custom carpentry industry.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or a related discipline
• Minimum 2–5 years of working experience in cabinetry or custom furniture design (added advantage)
• Hands-on experience in site coordination and site visits throughout different project stages
• Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously and managing work priorities effectively
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage site-based projects effectively
• Good communication skills for coordination with clients and internal teams

Job Scope:

• Prepare design proposals, layout plans, and technical drawings (including sketches, 3D and 2D visuals)
• Develop and propose design concepts based on clients’ requirements and project objectives
• Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BQ) and support the quotation process
• Recommend suitable construction materials, color schemes, and carpentry detailing
• Manage and coordinate projects from design concept through to installation, including site involvement
• Attend client meetings to understand, interpret, and translate design requirements
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within agreed timelines
• Work closely with and report directly to the Project Manager
