Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Summary

As a Customer Service Executive with the Air Freight department, you will deliver proactive and comprehensive service solutions to internal and external customers, ensuring their logistics requirements are met efficiently. Your role is pivotal in driving the company’s commitment to service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Book cargo shipments with airlines to ensure timely and accurate freight arrangements
  • Monitor shipment status continuously and communicate updates promptly to customers
  • Respond to customer enquiries effectively to resolve issues and maintain satisfaction
  • Coordinate shipping activities with customers and overseas agents to facilitate smooth operations
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with carriers and co-loaders to support service delivery
  • Serve as the primary resource for all Air Freight inquiries within Crane Singapore
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to arrange timely collection of shipments
  • Plan and coordinate with vendors to organize collection logistics efficiently
  • Provide detailed instructions and cost information to the Air Export operation team for flawless execution
  • Verify vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with shipment arrangements
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly performance reports to customers and account managers as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and business objectives

Required competencies and certifications

  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Analytical skills to monitor shipment data and support pricing and bid analysis
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum NITEC / Diploma in any relevant discipline
  • 2-5 years of experience in the forwarding industry
