• Design and conduct lab experiments for formulation, process improvement, material testing, and application validation.
• Research and review technical information to support new product development and innovation.
• Analyze test results, prepare technical reports, and present key findings to teams and management.
• Assist in creating technical documents such as TDS, SDS, and BOM.
• Work closely with manufacturing, QA, marketing, and sales to align R&D efforts with business and customer needs.
• Support scale-up and technology transfer from lab to production, ensuring consistency and reliability.
• Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting, site visits, and product qualification.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, technologies, and regulations.
• Ensure all R&D work follows quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer, Materials Science, Applied Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• 1–4 years of relevant experience in R&D, preferably within the adhesives, polymers, electronics, or chemical manufacturing industries.
• Practical experience with analytical and characterization techniques such as TMA, DMA, DSC, TGA, thermal conductivity, electrical resistivity, FTIR, as well as root cause analysis and experimental design, is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is an added advantage, as the role may require communication with Mandarin-speaking customers, particularly from China.
