Summary
The Compliance Executive is responsible for supporting the Assistant Compliance Manager in the day-to-day operations.
Reporting to Assistant Compliance Manager, he/she will work closely with all the departments in dnata Singapore. In the absence of the Assistant Compliance Manager, he/she will cover the duties and responsibilities of the Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist to implement, maintain and to continuously improve on the Quality Management System
- Assist to manage and ensure all quality and safety control processes comply to Company's standard, customer’s requirements, and local statutory regulations
- Maintain and update assigned Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs)
- Assist and Participate in Quality Assurance and Compliance activities to ensure Operations follow Company’s SOPs and WIs
- Track, monitor KPI and assist in the review of processes and workflow to improve operational effectiveness and meet the Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Identify root causes and trends from service gaps/ lapses/ complaints and conduct joint investigation with operation and formulate preventive measures for continual improvement
- Identify, analyze and resolve quality problems
- Lead in facilitating external audits and monitor corrective and preventive measures
- Participate in project, work studies, work committees and continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct regular audits, inter-department inspections and weekly compliance checks to assess quality performance, identify areas of improvement and monitor corrective and preventive measures
- Ensure that corrective actions taken are adequate and analyze quality records for adverse trends
- Liaise with internal and external parties and provide technical advice on quality issues
- Gather and prepare data from audits, compliance checks or any other areas as requested for management reporting.
- Assist Quality Manager in all administrative and Quality Management matters which are under the company’s span of control.
- Guide and supervise Quality Senior/ Junior executives in carrying out day to day quality activities
- Provide mentorship to Quality management department on Cargo Operational matters
- Support department’s assigned role in company’s Crisis Management Plan
- Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedure
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head
Requirements
- Minimum Degree/ Diploma from a recognized tertiary institution with Minimum 5 years of working experience preferably in quality management function from the airline or airline related industry. Auditing experience with certification bodies is an advantage.
