Job Summary

Coordinate and monitor production work orders and material deliveries to ensure timely completion and shipment. Collaborate with production, purchasing teams, and suppliers to meet delivery schedules and resolve operational issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and release work order jobs to production, collaborating with production personnel to ensure timely processing and completion of orders
• Monitor and expedite sub-assembly component progress to meet delivery schedules and initiate picking/staging for assembly
• Ensure each operation meets shipping dates based on sales forecasts or customer orders
• Expedite subsequent material processes after delivery from sub-tier suppliers to maintain delivery timelines
• Follow up with purchasing teams and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of all parts
• Coordinate and expedite placement of purchase orders and delivery of materials as needed
• Resolve operational problems using acquired knowledge and analytical skills to maintain workflow efficiency
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Head of Department to support production and planning goals

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience using MS Word, MS Excel (including V-lookup, Pivot Tables, and simple formulas), and MS Outlook to support planning tasks
• Proactive attitude with strong initiative and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to evolving processes
