Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Executive, Group Finance & Administration to support financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and group consolidation activities. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in financial reporting, and the ability to collaborate across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of quarterly reports in compliance with LFSA requirements
  • Assist in tax computation and submission in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and schedules

Accounts & Operations

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections
  • Monitor financial transactions and ensure accuracy and completeness of records
  • Collaborate with department heads to oversee staff matters in Labuan and business operations

Group Finance & Consolidation

  • Prepare quarterly and annual group consolidated financial statements in compliance with MFRS/IFRS
  • Coordinate with subsidiaries for timely submission of management accounts
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

Regulatory & Stakeholder Management

  • Assist with Bursa Malaysia reporting, including quarterly announcements and annual reports
  • Liaise with external auditors and company secretary to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Ensure adherence to statutory and financial reporting requirements


Requirements
  • Diploma in Accounting and above.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably with consolidation exposure
  • Strong knowledge of MFRS/IFRS and financial reporting standards
  • Experience in group consolidation and handling multiple entities is an added advantage
  • Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
