Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee mechanical engineering projects for new site development, upgrades, and facility expansion.
• Manage installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Support the Facilities team in maintaining company assets, ensuring reliability and optimal performance.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments for new project feasibility and improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective and preventive solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, project updates, drawings, and documentation.
• Assist in planning preventive maintenance schedules for facilities and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automation, or related field).
• Proven experience in a managerial or senior technical role, preferably in manufacturing or logistics is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Expertise in equipment maintenance, system optimization, and process improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD and project management software.
• Knowledgeable in material properties, selection, and testing for various applications.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
