Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities across Malaysia’s data centre ecosystem, including hyperscale operators, colocation providers, and technology partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as end-users, consultants, contractors, and technology vendors.
- Work closely with senior management and technical teams to position and specify our client’s products and solutions into customer project requirements.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs to support strategic market positioning.
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline, from prospecting through to project conversion.
- Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations to secure business wins.
- Provide regular market intelligence and reporting to support business planning and forecasting.
- Travel across Malaysia to support client engagement and project development activities (estimated 40–70%).
Skills Requirement:
- Minimum 2 years of business development experience within the data centre, mission-critical infrastructure, or related technical industry.
- Strong understanding of data centre design, infrastructure systems, and modern solutions (power, cooling, connectivity, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop accounts, and build a sustainable sales pipeline.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Malaysia.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
