TPG Oil & Gas, located at the Tanjung Langsat , Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia is a biodiesel manufacturing plant committed to operational excellence and sustainable energy solutions. Operating under the same group as Gulf Lubes Malaysia, we continue to expand our operations and strengthen our workforce.

We are looking Lab Technician to support routine laboratory testing and plant-relatd activities. This role involves hands-on laboratory work, sampling, instrument operation and basic troubleshooting in our biodiesel plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory testing for oleochemical and biodiesel-related samples
• Conduct sampling at designated plant and tank areas in accordance with SOPs
• Operate, verify, and perform basic troubleshooting of laboratory instruments, including GC systems
• Assist in investigation of initial test abnormalities or process-related issues
• Record, compile and maintain accurate laboratory data and reports
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining good communication with the team
• Willing to work at elevated areas when required

Requirements :

• Diploma in Chemistry or related field
• Familiar with oleochemical and biodiesel testing will be an added advantage
• Experience in GC troubleshooting and verification is an advantage
• Proactive mindset with initiative to investigate and identify initial problems
• Willing to perform shift work and overtime
• Able to support at other plants when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,900.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
