Responsibilities
The Printer Support Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting printers and related hardware/software across the organization. This role ensures minimal downtime and smooth printing operations for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure printers, scanners, and multifunction devices.
- Provide first-line support for printer issues (paper jams, connectivity, driver errors, etc.).
- Monitor printer usage, toner levels, and schedule preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot network printing problems and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Maintain inventory of printer supplies (toner, cartridges, spare parts).
- Document support requests, resolutions, and recurring issues.
- Train staff on proper printer usage and basic troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with IT team to integrate printers with network systems securely.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of printer hardware and drivers (HP, Canon, Epson, etc.).
- Familiarity with Windows/Mac/Linux printing environments.
- Basic networking knowledge (IP addresses, print servers, Wi-Fi printing).
- Problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to RM10,000.00 per month
