Glyph Community is a Singapore-registered IPC charity dedicated to supporting children from lower-income or vulnerable households, aged 5 to 12, through holistic weekend enrichment programs. Beyond fostering social, emotional, and intellectual growth through structured activities like arts, STEM, life skills, and wellness initiatives, Glyph Community now also focuses on uplifting the living standards of the families we serve.

Role Description

About the Role

You will work directly with our team to:

1. Support and run weekly programmes for children from underserved families
2. Coordinate on-the-ground operations
3. Work with local partners and facilitators
4. Help build relationships with community stakeholders and potential sponsors
5. You will not be “assisting”.
6. You will be expected to take responsibility and execute.

Growth Path

Strong performance in this role can lead to:

1. Paid Programme Coordinator role
2. Malaysia Operations Lead
3. Long-term role within Glyph Community International
4. We are building long-term presence, not short-term volunteering.

Qualifications

Is reliable and follows through consistently

Communicates clearly and professionally

Is comfortable engaging people on the ground

Can take initiative without constant supervision

Has an interest in community or social impact work

Bonus (not required):

• Prior volunteer or NGO experience
• Local network or community exposure
