Job Description
Responsibilities
Auto Mechanic
To maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming for maximum reliability and functionality. An excellent auto mechanic has good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. They are well-versed in complex mechanical or electronic systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use.
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks).
Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job.
Keep logs on work and issues.
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
Plan for vehicle inspection and to meet the requirements with LTA.
Requirements:
“N” Level, ITE certificate, or any technical certificate in a similar trade
Proven experience
Team player and self-motivated
Physically fit and agile
Willing to work overtime
A valid Class 3 driving license
Workplace in Jurong, 5.5 work days (M-F: 8.00am – 5.00pm/ Sat: 8.00am - 12.00noon)
