Role Overview
A Sales Representative in a PVC card manufacturing business is responsible for driving revenue by identifying, developing, and maintaining customer relationships. They promote and sell the company’s range of PVC card products — including ID cards, loyalty cards, access control cards, gift cards, and smart cards — to businesses, government agencies, institutions, and retailers.
Key Responsibilities
• Prospect and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and field visits
• Present and promote the company’s PVC card products and services to potential and existing clients
• Understand client needs and recommend appropriate card solutions (e.g., magnetic stripe, RFID, barcode, smart chip cards)
• Prepare and deliver sales quotations, proposals, and product samples
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in line with company policies
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts
• Coordinate with production, design, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline updates in CRM software
• Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the brand
