Position: IT Support Engineer (L 1.5)

Job Description:
We are looking for a Desktop Engineer to provide onsite IT support in a healthcare environment. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting end-user devices and systems.
Responsibilities:
Provide onsite IT support including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and escalation of desktop issues
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices (Windows, Mac, iPads)
Support Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and in-house applications
Manage software installation, reinstallation, and software distribution for end users
Support hardware disposal processes including secure data wiping and documentation
Liaise with vendors for issue resolution, maintenance, and escalations
Perform IT requests such as user setup, moves, adds, and changes
Support business continuity plan (BCP) exercises and desktop readiness
Provide printer support including basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and vendor coordination
Ensure systems and devices are functioning according to service standards
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in Desktop Support or IT Support role
Good knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and IT troubleshooting
Familiar with Active Directory, Group Policy, proxy settings, and endpoint security tools
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
MMR and TDAP vaccinations are required for this role (Claimable)
