Job Responsibilities
- Carry out product changeover in a timely manner according to schedule and product process specification.
- Take necessary action to improve line efficiency and quality.
- Troubleshoot and rectify process problems such as soldering quality issues with analysis or root cause.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment problems in order to prevent the equipment from breakdown during production run.
- Carry out improvement and modification on hand tools, jigs and fixtures used on the production line.
- Carry out feeder maintenance and repair work.
- Perform ESD verification on work benches and equipment.
- Support project work for line improvement to achieve optimum efficiency.
- Support NPI activities; pick & place program editing, perform line balancing and UPH improvement to production line.
- Carry out preventive maintenance production equipment, production tools and fixtures.
- Support Wave soldering machine, tasks similar to SMT.
- Support Plant Facility as and when required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Nitec or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience in equipment maintenance related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical and pneumatic.
- Knowledge of PCBA equipment and process related knowledge is preferred.
- Proficient in computer applications.
