We're Hiring: Accounts Payable Admin!
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Admin to support day-to-day financial operations. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates looking to build their accounting and finance career while working in a structured professional environment. The successful candidate will assist with invoice processing, supplier communications, payment tracking and general bookkeeping while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
Work Mode: Work From Office and/ or Hybrid
Role: Accounts Payable Admin
What You'll Do:
- process and verify supplier invoices, bills, approvals, payment requests and supporting documentation accurately and efficiently
- Manage and reconcile supplier statements, payments and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Collaborate/ assist with internal teams to ensure smooth operations such as bookkeeping and general accounting tasks
- Data entry into accounting system such as Xero, QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms
- Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding payment status and other queries
- Assist in month-end closing processes as required
What We're Looking For:
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, accounting administration or related field
- Basic understanding of invoices, payment cycle and accounting processes
- Familiarity with Excel, Xero, QuickBooks or similar accounting software is an added advantage
- Excellent attention to details, accuracy, organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and proactive work ethic with strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
