Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:


Research & Strategic Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive research and intelligence gathering across property sector, competition, pricing, business models, and financial viability.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities including land acquisitions, partnerships, and alternative asset classes.
  • Translate research into clear insights, presentations, and strategic recommendations for senior management.
  • Maintain and continuously enhance internal market intelligence databases and knowledge resources.


Feasibility Studies & Investment Evaluation

  • Prepare business cases, white papers, and Board/management papers, while contributing to the shaping of development concepts and commercial strategies
  • Develop financial models, feasibility studies, and investment appraisals, including scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and risk assessments to support informed decision-making


Execution and Project Management

  • Support execution of business development initiatives, from initial planning through to implementation and completion
  • Coordinate partner sourcing, stakeholder engagement, and consultant appointments, including managing tender processes where required
  • Assist in deal execution processes, supporting internal approvals, manage project timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth and timely implementation


Job Requirements:

  • Degree preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related fields
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in business development, corporate strategy, investment analysis, or property development
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in feasibility studies
  • Ability to synthesise research and data into clear, structured insights and presentations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently across multiple projects
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Willingness to travel (Johor and other project locations, as required)
  • Good communication skill in written and spoken English
