About the Role

We are seeking a Safety Officer with greenbook certification to join our Data Center Construction Projects.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the worksite and all activities comply with all statutory requirements under the OSHA 1994 and other relevant legislation (e.g., Factories and Machinery Act, Environmental Quality Act).
• Conduct regular, thorough site inspections and safety audits to identify and rectify potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe work practices.
• Lead and coordinate the process of Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) for all site activities and ensure effective control measures are implemented and maintained.
• Plan, organize, and conduct safety training, orientations, and toolbox meetings for all employees, sub-contractors, and visitors to promote a high level of safety awareness and competency.
• Investigate all accidents, near-misses, dangerous occurrences, and occupational diseases. Prepare detailed investigation reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare, compile, and maintain all necessary safety and health documentation, including inspection reports, training records, statistics, and all required statutory submissions to DOSH
• Act as the Secretary to the Site Safety and Health Committee, organizing meetings, documenting minutes, and following up on action items.
• Develop, implement, and test emergency response plans (e.g., fire drills, medical emergencies) and ensure the readiness of emergency equipment and personnel.
• Monitor the safe use, inspection, and certification of all machinery, equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Green Book certificate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
