Responsibilities
"Our esteemed client, an established/globally recognised MNC, is searching for an Assistant Machine Engineer/Technician:
Job Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, electrical panels, and automation systems according to maintenance schedules.
Support immediate troubleshooting and breakdown recovery to minimise downtime and achieve production output targets.
Analyse root causes of machine issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Support machine setup, model changeovers, and perform machine and quality verification after changes
Carry out periodic preventive maintenance activities, including system backups, vision system checks, and equipment inspections.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, ISO requirements, QAQC procedures, and company policies.
Job Requirements:
NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
At least 1 year of relevant experience in machinery or equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment preferred.
Hands-on experience in machinery troubleshooting and maintenance.
Knowledge of PLC systems, HMI, or vision systems (e.g. Mitsubishi PLC, Proface HMI, Keyence Vision System) will be an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; basic PowerPoint skills preferred.
Willingness to work rotating shifts (including 12-hour shifts, day and night).
Additional Information:
Salary: Up to SGD 3,680 + Shift Allowance + AWS + VB (1 - 2 Months)
Working Location: Yishun/Tuas
Working Days: 4 Days' Work 2 Day Rest
Rotating Shift Hours: Day Shift, 7am to 7pm, Night Shift, 7pm to 7am
