Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Purchasing Assistant (6 months Maternity Cover):
Job Responsibilities:
Process purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Identify and source new suppliers, as well as potential new products to support operational needs.
Qualify and evaluate vendors while exploring alternative sourcing options.
Ensure prompt procurement to meet production and operational requirements.
Monitor, assess, and maintain supplier performance on a regular basis
Support cost-saving measures and contribute to cost-control strategies.
Oversee inventory of chemicals and general supplies to ensure availability and accuracy.
Prepare and submit monthly procurement and inventory reports.
Job Requirements:
At least 3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory control.
Diploma or higher qualification in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
Experience in purchasing, inventory, materials, or warehouse management will be an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Additional Information:
Salary: Up to SGD 3,000
Working Location: Joo Koon
Working Hours: 5 Days Work, Monday to Friday, 7.50am to 4.55pm
