We are looking for an experienced and reliable individual to fill in the immediate position, primarily to plan, manage, coordinate all operational matters relating to design, building renovations and furnishing for low-density high-end condominiums. You will be in charge of all construction and finishing functions such as design, sourcing, contractor management, troubleshooting and invoice reconciliation.
Qualification & experience
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Building Studies or any equivalent/related discipline
Minimum 5 years working experience in construction, project management, purchasing or design management or related field
On site coordinator/supervisory experience is required
Able to start immediately
Skill and knowledge
Must have leadership, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills that enable you to source and liaise with vendors, contractors, suppliers, consultants and local authorities
Good team player to work closely with contractors and other designers
Good design flair is advantageous
Basic knowledge of building maintenance, property and tenancy management
Familiar with governing acts involved in renovation, construction, building codes & related areas
Ability to communicate in both English and Chinese
Must have own transport and willing to travel across several locations around KL.
Computer literate (Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, Photoshop and SketchUp) and have a smart phone with data plan
岗位职责
Your primary areas of responsibilities as a Renovation Senior Assistant will involve:
Project management of residential property renovation
Purchasing, procurement and sourcing of products and suppliers
Design support for Marketing projects
Your job is to manage and oversee all renovations and design duties, including procurement. For example, you'll be responsible for preparing budget, review quotations, invoices, claims whilst managing multiple queries from contractors as well as sourcing for bathroom accessories and kitchen appliances
You engage professionally with vendors and suppliers while successfully directing the on-site construction-related personnel in planning, coordinating and implementation of the renovation work to ensure smooth execution from inception to completion in accordance to the contract documents, schedule and budget
Source, procure for suppliers and materials including fittings, parts, products, materials, vendors, contractors, appliances, accessories and etc.
You are expected to be part of the management team and your job will also involve you in supporting other members of the team from time to time
