• Requires at least Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent qualification.
• Possesses 1-2 years of working experience in material handling or a similar role in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Proficient in warehouse operations, including inventory management, dispatch, and receiving of goods.
• Able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently (forklift certificate is an advantage).
• Adheres strictly to workplace safety procedures.
• Capable of working within the SAP system for inventory management and stock records.
• Possesses good teamwork skills and can communicate effectively in English.
• Willing to work on a 12-hour shift system (day and night) in Benoi Sector, Singapore.

The Materials Handler (12 hours shift/12 months contract) is responsible for performing regular inventory counts and yearly physical inventory counts to maintain accurate stock records, including assisting in identifying and resolving discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records, ensuring restocking shelves and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment.

This position is part of the Supply Chain & Logistics Department reporting to the Materials Supervisor and is located in Benoi Sector, Singapore. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Accepting incoming shipments, verifying their contents and checking for damages or discrepancies, while accurately documenting received goods, updating inventory management systems - SAP and organizing received items in designated storage areas;

• Carefully retrieve items from inventory based on production pick lists or order sheets, and pack the items efficiently, ensure items are protected during transfer including labels and packages for internal production.

• Safely load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring the proper handling of goods by utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as necessary (if certified and trained) by following all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries;
