Jobs Kreate is recruiting on behalf of a client for a shipboard Laundry Staff position. The successful candidate will support daily laundry operations by sorting and processing linen, operating laundry equipment and maintaining a clean and safe working environment onboard.

Important: Cruise ship grading may differ from land-based hospitality structures. Candidates may be offered a position one or two ranks below their current land-based role, subject to the cruise line’s assessment and operational requirements.

• Open to Malaysian and Singaporean citizens only.

• This is a full-time position. Part-time applications will not be considered.

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Laundry Staff, Laundry Attendant, Laundryman or in a similar laundry position.

• Able to operate washers, dryers and flat-ironing equipment.

• Able to handle cleaning products, chemicals and laundry equipment safely.

• Good English communication skills.

• Flexible, able to work under pressure and committed to teamwork.

• Professional appearance and high personal hygiene standards.

• Good knowledge of public health, sanitation and workplace safety requirements.

Salary

• Salary: USD 950

• Contract duration: 6 months

• Sort linen daily according to company procedures.

• Load and unload washers and dryers safely and efficiently.

• Operate flat-ironing equipment and fold towels and other laundry items.

• Monitor iron-roll pressure and steam supply during operations.

• Clean dryer ducts, laundry equipment and the laundry working area regularly.

• Report equipment damage or malfunctions to the Laundry Master.

• Handle cleaning chemicals, laundry materials and equipment safely.

• Separate and dispose of waste according to public health procedures.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and grooming in assigned areas.

• Follow all public health, environmental, PPE, safety, security and emergency procedures.

• Assist other departments or perform additional duties when operationally required.
