Jobs Kreate is recruiting on behalf of a client for a shipboard Resort Deck Attendant position. The successful candidate will maintain the pool and resort deck areas, support beverage service and provide friendly, attentive service to guests onboard.

Important: Cruise ship grading may differ from land-based hospitality structures. Candidates may be offered a position one or two ranks below their current land-based role, subject to the cruise line’s assessment and operational requirements.

• Open to Malaysian and Singaporean citizens only.

• This is a full-time position. Part-time applications will not be considered.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Resort Deck Attendant, Bar Server or in a similar position within a 4-star or 5-star hospitality or bar environment.

• Able to work independently and support beverage service operations.

• Physically fit and able to carry heavy items and stand, kneel or bend for extended periods.

• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.

• Additional language abilities are an advantage.

• Flexible, able to work under pressure and committed to teamwork.

• Guest-focused and service-oriented with a professional appearance and high personal hygiene standards.

• Good knowledge of public health, sanitation and workplace safety requirements.

Salary

• Salary: USD 950

• Contract duration: 6 months

• Maintain the cleanliness and overall presentation of the pool and resort deck areas.

• Arrange and clean sun chairs, furniture and other equipment throughout the day.

• Collect used towels and return them to the Laundry Department.

• Replenish supplies in assigned bar outlets and assist with beverage service when required.

• Maintain good knowledge of food, beverages and complimentary bar menus.

• Store assigned inventory according to required stock levels and public health procedures.

• Prepare and support food and beverage activities across assigned outlets.

• Provide attentive and sales-oriented service while responding to guest needs.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation and equipment care.

• Follow all public health, environmental, safety, security, PPE and emergency procedures.

• Assist in other departments or perform additional duties when operationally required.
