• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Kinesiology, Nursing, or a closely related scientific field or similar experience preferred.

• Ability to seamlessly read, interpret, and present complex clinical trials, survival curves, and knee osteoarthritis grading scales (e.g., Kellgren-Lawrence grading).

• Possess an active, pre-existing network of orthopedic specialists and hospital procurement contacts within the assigned regional territory.

• Ability to travel extensively across the regional territory to service clinical accounts, attend hospital board meetings, and participate in national orthopedic conferences.

• Able to converse in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia

Medical Sales Representative – Orthopedics & Viscosupplementation (Joint Care)

We are seeking an experienced, science-driven Medical Sales Representative to manage and expand our premium portfolio of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) intra-articular injections (viscosupplementation). This role is entirely focused on the orthopedic and sports medicine sectors. You will pitch clinical data and sell joint-lubrication therapies directly to orthopedic surgeons, rheumatologists, physical medicine specialists, and hospital procurement boards. The ideal candidate has deep experience navigating hospital purchasing committees, analyzing clinical trial registries, and presenting therapeutic data to high-level medical specialists.

Core Responsibilities

• Clinical Territory Management: Build, grow, and maintain a robust pipeline of healthcare accounts across private orthopedic clinics, sports medicine hubs, and major hospital networks etc.

• Evidence-Based Detailing: Conduct highly technical, clinical presentations to physicians, comparing HA molecular weight, cross-linking technology, and long-term efficacy against standard NSAID or corticosteroid options.

• Hospital Listing & Tenders: Manage the end-to-end hospital formulary inclusion process. Prepare technical dossiers, coordinate with pharmacy and therapeutics (P&T) committees, and secure government or private hospital tender wins.

• Surgical & Clinical Support: Provide on-site, peer-to-peer technical support in clinical settings to ensure proper understanding of injection protocols, rheological profiles, and patient eligibility.

• Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement: Identify, recruit, and collaborate with top orthopedic surgeons and rheumatologists to lead clinical roundtables, webinars, and educational seminars.

• Market Compliance Tracking: Ensure all sales pitches, medical literature, and regional marketing activities strictly comply with regional medical device and pharmaceutical regulations.
