Requirements

Cable Installer Technician – T1 (Entry Level)

Requirements:

  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a construction or IT infrastructure environment.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

  • Comfortable using basic hand tools under supervision.

  • Reliable, punctual, and a good team player.

  • OSHA 10 (or equivalent) or basic low-voltage training is an advantage.

Cable Installer Technician – L1

Requirements:

  • Experience with structured cabling or cable installation projects.

  • Knowledge of copper and fiber cabling installation practices.

  • Ability to use common installation tools and follow technical drawings or work instructions.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • BICSI, FOA, or equivalent structured cabling experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Cable Installer Technician – T1 (Entry Level)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with cable pulling by preparing materials, cable reels, and pull paths.

  • Support cable installation, dressing, and Velcro management under supervision.

  • Apply cable labels and assist in verifying completed work.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

  • Follow site safety procedures and use PPE at all times.

  • Assist with tool handling, material movement, and shift handovers.

Cable Installer Technician – L1

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, pull, route, and dress copper and fiber optic cables.

  • Install cable management systems and maintain proper cable routing and bend radius.

  • Assist with cable terminations and enclosure work.

  • Apply cable labels and perform basic quality checks before testing.

  • Prepare cables for testing, including connector cleaning and endpoint verification.

  • Maintain tools, housekeeping, and safe working practices throughout the project.
