Requirements
Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related fields.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably in powder coating, surface treatment, metal fabrication, or chemical-related industries.
Possess Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWaM)andCertified Environmental Professional in Industrial Effluent Treatment System Operation (CePIETSO) or equivalent certification.
Knowledge and experience in DOE compliance, Environmental Quality Act 1974, scheduled waste management, IETS, APCS, and chemical risk assessment.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Manage DOE compliance matters, including environmental licenses, reports, submissions, audits, and regulatory inspections.
Oversee chemical management, including chemical storage, SDS control, Chemical Register, risk assessments, and scheduled waste management.
Operate and monitor IETS and APCS systems to ensure compliance with DOE discharge and emission requirements.
Conduct environmental training, internal audits, corrective actions, and support EHS improvement initiatives.
Coordinate scheduled waste disposal, environmental documentation, contractor management, and emergency response activities.
