MMC Corporation Berhad Hiring! Full Time Port Safety Assistant, Port Security & Safety (Fire & Rescue) in Johor - Ricebowl

Pass a minimum of five (5) subjects in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) including Bahasa Malaysia & History.

Pass vision, color recognition, and hearing tests.

Possess at least a B2 and D license; preference will be given to those with E and GDL licenses.

Perform emergency rescue operations, oil spill response, and firefighting duties to ensure the safety of port personnel, assets, and the environment.

Monitor and ensure that all hot work, hazardous work, bunkering, and loading/unloading of dangerous cargo are carried out in compliance with safety regulations, supported by the necessary written permits, and that all equipment and operating pressure meet the required standards.

Conduct routine patrols and surveillance throughout Johor Port Berhad to maintain a safe and secure operational environment.

Inspect and ensure that all firefighting equipment and emergency response systems are maintained in good working condition, and report any defects or malfunctions promptly.

Advise and remind port personnel to comply with safety regulations, and address any unsafe practices or violations observed within the port.

Carry out routine inspections, testing, and maintenance checks on fire engines, ambulances, and other emergency response vehicles and equipment.

Serve on a rotating basis as a Control Room Operator, monitoring operations and ensuring all emergency and operational activities are coordinated efficiently.

Perform operational duties involving the installation and handling of Loading Arms, Flexible Hoses, Fresh Water Supply, and related cleaning activities.

Provide fresh water supply and operational support services required for the handling and transportation of hazardous cargo.

Respond promptly to emergencies and assist in ensuring compliance with port safety, environmental, and emergency response procedures at all times.
