Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.

Physically fit and able to perform maintenance and repair work without major health limitations.

Possess knowledge and skills in electrical and mechanical maintenance.

Experience or knowledge of port material handling equipment and PLC systems is an added advantage.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical breakdowns safely with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Willing and able to work at heights.

Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and safety-conscious mindset.

Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance and repair activities on JPB material handling equipment as assigned by the Superior and Management.

Update maintenance checklists upon completion of work on the same day of the maintenance activity.

Report any maintenance-related issues to the Superior promptly to ensure work orders are completed on time.

Identify equipment problems and apply appropriate troubleshooting methods, including root cause analysis, to achieve effective solutions.

Ensure all maintenance and repair activities are carried out safely in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Maintain all tools and company assets in proper working condition and ensure they are stored appropriately.

Maintain workplace cleanliness and perform 5S activities upon completion of each work order.

Assist in ensuring all mechanical handling equipment remains in safe and operational condition to support daily operations.
