Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Freight Forwarding Executive to manage import and export operations, customs clearance, and shipping documentation. This role involves coordinating with Customs, shipping lines, forwarding agents, and internal teams to ensure shipments are processed accurately, cleared efficiently, and released on time.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance, Import & Export, Shipping, or a related field.

• Good knowledge of import/export procedures and customs clearance processes.

• Familiar with shipping documentation, including Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, and Certificate of Origin.

• Understanding of HS Codes, duties, and taxes is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation.

• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Well-organized and able to manage multiple shipments and priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle import and export customs clearance documentation in compliance with relevant regulations.

• Verify HS Codes, applicable duties, taxes, and other customs requirements.

• Prepare and review shipping documents, including Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Certificate of Origin.

• Ensure all shipping and customs documentation is complete and accurate before submission.

• Liaise with Customs authorities, shipping lines, forwarding agents, and internal departments.

• Monitor shipment progress and customs clearance timelines.

• Ensure timely cargo clearance and release and address any potential delays.

• Resolve documentation, shipment, and customs clearance issues promptly.

• Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure compliance with relevant procedures.
