Requirements
Degree in food technology or equivalent or diploma in food technology
Minimum 2 years of experience as HACCP Coordinator in hospital catering or relevant industry
Strong understanding on HACCP, GMP and food safety program.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to be flexible and effectively work with others as a team.
Proficient in written and spoken English and Malay language.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the development of HACCP program, Food safety policy, and SOP for the unit hospital
Ensure the required ‘food safety and quality standards’ of company’s product and services be carried out and maintained in accordance with the applicable regulatory requirements and standards e.g. HACCP, International Health Regulations, etc.
Responsible for the development of HACCP Plan and HACCP program, Food safety policy, and SOP for the unit hospital
Responsible in managing all types of monitoring, data accuracy, SOP and Process Compliance to fulfil HACCP and Food Safety Management System
Responsible for carrying out food safety and quality inspection activities in the premise covering to ensure compliance to specification and food safety requirement.
Monitor critical control point (CCP) throughout manufacturing process
Work with the kitchen and delivery team to comply the food safety procedures according to the MOH requirement
Monitor every aspect of production to ensure compliance with established Standard Operation Procedure (SOP)
Responsible for bringing up and alerting immediate superior when processes are out of control or product not meeting requirements.
Overall responsible to ensure the food safety practice on the floor are followed. These includes the GMPs and HACCP program.
Overall responsible to ensure the food Quality System and HALAL requirements are practice on the floor.
To monitor the HACCP data logging and documentation requirements by monitoring and check all CP and CCP comply with Food Safety requirement.
To assist in customer audits and follow up on the implementation of Departmental Corrective Action Record and Sustainability.
To perform the food safety inspection in the kitchen based on agreed inspection scheduled.
Any other duties assigned and instructed by the superior.
