Minimum Diploma in a relevant technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent).

Possess 3-5 years of proven experience in installing elevators, preferably traction elevators.

Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools and power tools commonly used in installation and maintenance.

Demonstrated understanding and strict adherence to safety procedures and regulations in a construction or installation environment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately.

Valid driving license and a clean driving record, with the ability to operate a company vehicle if required.

Experience with safety management principles and practices on job sites.

Familiarity with the installation process of various types of elevators, including hydraulic and traction systems.

Good physical condition to handle the demands of the job, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia to coordinate with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.

Install, maintain, and repair elevators and related equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Perform pre-installation checks, including site surveys and preparation, to ensure a smooth and safe installation process.

Assemble and erect elevator components, including rails, cars, doors, and control systems, using hand tools and power equipment.

Connect electrical wiring, control panels, and safety devices, adhering strictly to safety procedures and electrical codes.

Conduct thorough testing and inspection of installed elevators to ensure proper functionality, safety compliance, and adherence to quality standards.

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, performing necessary repairs and adjustments to maintain optimal elevator performance.

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices on job sites.

Maintain accurate records of installation, maintenance, and repair activities, including parts used and time spent.

Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other trades to ensure efficient project completion.

Provide basic training or guidance to clients on elevator operation and safety features as needed.
