About the Role:
Do you have an eagle eye for detail and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences? We are a growing and dynamic short-term rental business, looking for a dedicated Operations & Guest Experience Manager to be the cornerstone of our quality and service. In this pivotal role, you will ensure our properties not only meet but exceed the 5-star standard our guests expect. You will be the face of our business on the ground, managing the critical link between our properties, our support teams, and our valued guests.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is organised, proactive, and takes immense pride in delivering perfection.
Who You Are:
You have 2+ years of experience in hospitality, property management, or a similar operations-focused role.
You are incredibly detail-oriented – nothing gets past you.
You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and are comfortable interacting with guests and team members alike.
You are a proactive problem-solver who doesn’t just identify issues but drives solutions.
You are highly organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You have a friendly, professional demeanour and understand the nuances of short-term rental hospitality.
Proficiency with smartphones, apps, and basic digital tools is essential. Prior experience with Airbnb or other rental platforms is a significant plus.
Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control & Inspection: Conduct rigorous 5-star walk-throughs after cleaning to ensure every unit is immaculate, fully stocked, and guest-ready. You are the final seal of approval before check-in.
Team Coordination: Act as the central point of contact between cleaning and maintenance teams. Log issues found during inspections, ensure timely corrections, and follow up to verify completion.
Guest Hospitality: Personally welcome guests, facilitate smooth check-ins by escorting them to their unit, and provide a warm, informative introduction to the property and its amenities.
Guest Relations & Communication: Address guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally. Manage and respond to all messages and inquiries across multiple rental platforms (Airbnb, Agoda, *************, etc.) to maintain excellent response rates and communication.
Continuous Improvement: Observe operations actively and propose actionable solutions to enhance our quality, guest satisfaction, and service standards.
System Optimization: Work with management to streamline and improve daily operational systems for greater efficiency.
