Requirements

· Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

· Minimum 2–3 years of experience with LV switchboards, MCCs, Distribution Boards (DB), PLC control panels, and industrial control wiring.

· Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

· Familiar with BOM preparation and electrical components.

· Experience performing electrical inspections and quality checks.

· Good communication skills with the confidence to liaise directly with customers.

· Able to organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with Australian Standards (AS/NZS) is an advantage.

· Experience in switchboard manufacturing, panel building, or electrical contracting.

· Familiarity with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), inspection documentation, and quality systems.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Technical Coordination

· Review customer electrical schematics, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

· Communicate with customers to clarify technical requirements and resolve engineering queries.

· Coordinate and manage electrical components and consumables based on Bills of Materials (BOM)

· Review component layouts, wiring schedules, and cable requirements.

· Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and QA to ensure smooth project execution.

· Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting delivery schedules.

Production Support

· Provide technical guidance to the electrical wiring team during assembly and wiring.

· Resolve technical issues encountered during electrical fit-out and wiring activities.

· Ensure all electrical work complies with customer drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

Electrical Quality Assurance

· Develop electrical inspection check sheets based on customer requirements where applicable.

· Perform final inspection of all electrical fit-out and wiring works, including:

o Wiring workmanship

o Cable routing and termination

o Component identification and labelling

o Compliance with customer drawings and specifications

· Verify electrical documentation is complete before shipment.
