Job Description

Requirements

  • Possess a valid Yellow Book (Registered Safety and Health Officer) certification.

  • Prior experience as a Safety Officer is an advantage.

  • Good knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.

  • Monitor and enforce safety procedures on-site.

  • Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective actions.

  • Organize safety training, toolbox meetings, and emergency drills.

  • Prepare and maintain safety reports and documentation.

  • Liaise with relevant authorities on safety matters when required.

  • Promote a strong safety culture within the organization.
