Education & Experience

• SPM minimum; Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Minimum 1–3 years of retail experience, with preference for fashion, jewellery, or lifestyle brand

backgrounds.

• Prior experience in a customer-facing sales role with measurable target achievement.

Skills & Competencies

• Proven track record of achieving retail sales targets.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a bonus.

• Confident in product styling advice and jewellery matching.

• Competent in POS system operation and basic cash handling.

• Basic understanding of visual merchandising principles.

• Willing to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays.

Sales Performance & Customer Consultation

• Achieve and consistently exceed individual and team monthly sales targets.

• Provide personalised styling consultation and gifting recommendations to customers.

• Drive upselling and cross-selling by curating MNML looks that increase average transaction value.

• Build genuine, long-term customer relationships that encourage loyalty and repeat visits.

• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and exchanges with professionalism and warmth.

Visual Merchandising & Store Standards

• Maintain a beautifully presented display floor at all times — tidy, well-lit, and fully on-brand.

• Assist in planning and executing VM refreshes, seasonal setups, and promotional displays.

• Ensure all jewellery pieces are correctly tagged, polished, and properly showcased.

• Oversee visual merchandising standards and ensure displays reflect brand guidelines at all times.

Operations & Reporting

• Manage opening and closing duties including cash management and POS balancing procedures.

• Accurately process transactions, returns, and exchanges via the POS system.

• Report daily sales and inventory movements to the Store Manager.

• Support stock receiving, inventory checks, and store replenishment processes.

• Participate in stock counts and highlight stock shortages or discrepancies to management.

Team Leadership & Mentoring

• Guide and mentor Junior Sales Associates on product knowledge, selling techniques, and service standards.

• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service on the shop floor.

• Actively contribute to a positive, collaborative, and high-energy team culture.

• Participate in team meetings, briefings, and training sessions.

• Support the Store Manager in daily floor operations, including delegation and issue resolution.
