Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of accounting experience.

  • Experience handling full sets of accounts, including AP and AR.

  • Leadership experience or the ability to guide junior accounting staff.

  • Mandarin speaker (required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers, suppliers, and business partners).

  • Experience in trading, distribution, healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or veterinary industries is an advantage.

  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Candidates who can join immediately or have a short notice period are preferred

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing the company's daily accounting operations, including:

Accounting

  • Handle full sets of accounts (AP, AR, General Ledger, and month-end closing).

  • Record daily financial transactions accurately.

  • Prepare payment vouchers, journal entries, debit notes, and credit notes.

  • Ensure accounting records are accurate and comply with company policies.

Accounts Receivable (Customer Payments)

  • Process customer invoices and sales transactions.

  • Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers.

  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing issues with the Sales Team.

Accounts Payable (Supplier Payments)

  • Process supplier invoices and payments.

  • Prepare payment schedules.

  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.

  • Communicate with suppliers regarding payment matters.

Financial Reporting

  • Assist with monthly and yearly financial closing.

  • Prepare financial reports and supporting documents.

  • Monitor company cash flow.

  • Support budgeting and financial planning.

Audit & Compliance

  • Prepare documents for audits.

  • Assist with SST and tax-related matters.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Other Duties

  • Work closely with the Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and Management teams.

  • Support finance process improvements.

  • Perform other accounting or administrative tasks assigned by management.
