Position: Head of Accounts

Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer

Company Description
We are a full-service outbound travel experience curator, offering a comprehensive suite of outbound travel products and services under our flagship brand, Golden Destinations (GD). Operating primarily on a B2B model, we serve a network of licensed travel agents to deliver ready-to-market travel packages tailored to diverse customer needs. As the Head of Accounts, you will lead the Accounting department, ensuring accuracy of all financial data, maintaining internal control, compliance with local laws and providing financial insights to support senior management decisions.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) are highly preferred.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, budgeting, cash flow management, and internal controls.
• Experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and work under tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.

• Overseas daily accounting functions, including AP, AR, GL, treasury, month-end/year-end closing, and financial reporting in a timely manner.
• Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards, legal regulations, and tax requirements.
• Manage cash flow position and working capital requirements, prepare and review cash flow forecast.
• Monitor foreign currency exposure and daily forex rates, recommend hedging or forex risk mitigation when necessary.
• Lead internal and external audit processes, liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage, train, and mentor accounting staff to maximize departmental efficiency and ensure deadlines are met.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, SOPs, and risk management practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• As a key member to participate in the Company’s continuous enhancement and upgrading of systems and IT digital platform.
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Senior Management from time to time
