Responsibilities
Assist in daily accounting tasks including data entry of invoices, receipts, and payments into the accounting system.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring all documentation is properly filed and retrievable.
Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions by processing vendor invoices and preparing customer statements.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements with accounting records on a regular basis.
Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and preparing reports.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures as directed by the accounting manager.
Handle petty cash transactions and maintain accurate petty cash records.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounting-related activities.
Perform other related duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
