Job Description

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum SPM or Diploma.
  • Experience:
  • Preferably with 1 year or above experience in logistics industries and good communication skills
  • Windows Office Applications (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, etc)
  • Able to work independent

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients and shippers and resolve any complaints.
  • Prepare shipping quotes for customers.
  • Negotiate shipping fees with couriers.
  • Prepare sales reports for senior management.
  • Keep a meticulous record of shipment information.
  • Help manage current customer accounts.
  • Deal with a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls.
  • Maintain relationships with carriers and customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers and carriers.
  • Solve customer and carrier problems and help resolve issues.
  • Attend air freight enquiries from customers & overseas agents.
  • Familiarize with related customer service, air freight export and import procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with airlines, GSA & CSA.
  • Monitor complete operational process flow to ensure timely delivery of freight to customers.
  • Maintain and file all records in accordance with company procedure.
  • Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and vendors (airlines, trucking companies,etc).
  • Oversee and assess team productivity and activities, providing regular performance-related feedback and constructive coaching.
  • Attend to customer bookings for export/ import shipments.
  • Update customers on the status of their shipments via email.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Sales to meet customers’ needs.
  • Handle costing and billing for shipments.
  • Undertake other assignments from the Management . (Manage overall export and import operations)
