Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related
field.
Experience in air freight sales or a similar sales role within the logistics industry.
Strong understanding of air freight logistics, including pricing, regulations, and
market dynamics.
Windows Office Applications (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)
Able to work independently
Good command of written/spoken English and computer skills
Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
A. Sales Strategy & Business Development
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and business targets for air freight services.
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across targeted industries and market segments.
Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from lead generation through negotiation to successful deal closure.
Drive business expansion by promoting the company's air freight solutions and value-added services.
B. Client Relationship Management
Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with key clients and strategic accounts.
Understand customer requirements and provide tailored logistics solutions to meet their business needs.
Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular customer visits to identify opportunities for business growth and account retention.
C. Market Analysis & Reporting
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities.
Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, performance reports, and revenue analysis for management review.
Recommend strategies to improve market share, customer acquisition, and sales performance.
D. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Freight Forwarding teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Coordinate with the Air Freight Operations team to align customer requirements with operational capabilities and resolve service-related issues.
Partner with the Marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, sales materials, and business development initiatives for air freight services.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
